CASSIN ICE AXE SIGNED BY RICCARDO CASSIN NEW CONDITION
We have some old wood handled ice axes, perfect for display over your mantlepiece. This is a beautiful Italian Ice Axe from the 1960s, and is an antique by itself! This Cassin brand axe is 'modern', with a light colored ash wooden shaft. This axe is unused and the wood is cream colored. If you are old enough, you used one of these in the 1960's. This Cassin axe is 19' long, with serrations on the pick, and a curved adze for step chopping. The axe still has the original factory label on one side, and is personally signed by the great climber Riccardo Cassin on the other side. We know it is authentic as we purchased this axe about 20 years ago at an Access Fund auction, and it was donated to the auction by Cassin himself! Postage in this item is $15 Priority Mail in the USA, $35 International Airmail. This will be added after checkout.
