This book is not uncommon, there are copies available online. However, none have as nice a Dust Jacket as this copy, and with as Fine and clean a book.
This was a very severe climb in the Andes by a French team, now considered one of the great climbs in the Andes. First ascent of the difficult South Face of the highest mountain in South America, conquered by a team of French climbers who overcame the impossible.
