Currently (2025) we have two only SIGNED copies of a first edition of All 14 Eight-Thusanders, Messner's most important book.  The US, UK and German (titled Uberlebt) editions are identical. 

Seattle, Cloudcap, 1988, 1st US edition. 248 pp, 113 color photos, maps. Large format hardcover with dust jacket. Fine.

This is a heavy, large format book. Extra postage will be requested for International Mail and Priority Mail.

Messner's ascents of the 14 - 8,000-meter peaks, without oxygen and many solo, is the greatest mountaineering feat of all time. In addition to the stories, this book is a reference for the history and routes of the 8000 meter peaks.

WORLD'S FIRST PERSON TO ASCEND ALL THE 8,000 METER PEAKS 

There are 14 peaks in the world that surpass the 8,000 meter mark, all located in the Himalayan or Karakoram mountain ranges in Asia, and many climbers are in the process of trying to climb them all.

The first person to conquer the 14 peaks is Italian Reinhold Messner who climbed his first 8,000 meter peak in 1970 and finished his last in 1986.
