We offer signed and unsigned copies at the same price. Ascent was initiated as the mountaineering journal of the Sierra Club. It appeared occasionally over the years, from 1967 to 1989. Each issue is a collection of excellent writing about mountaineering, fiction, fact and poetry as well as photography and art related to mountains. This 1970 issue is now becoming scarce.
