Mountain Recreation is a record of Bruce Jenkinson's climbs. Jenkinson was one of New Zealand's leading climbers. The experiences range from a trip into the Kaimanawas to exacting climbs on some of the world's highest peaks. His philosophy of mountain wilderness is woven into his story. The task of preparing this book for publication and of selecting photos from the large number Bruce took was undertaken by three friends after his death on Mount Sebastopol near Mount Cook.
