More on Hillary's signature below This is a heavy, large format book. Extra postage will be requested for Media Mail, Priority Mail and International Mail. When Ed signed this book for us, we noticed that he was signing 'E.P. Hillary' instead of his more usual 'Ed Hillary.' We asked him why, as 'E.P. Hillary' is the way he first signed books in the 1950s. He didn't really answer, but I had the feeling he was giving me, and now you, a treat. I think somebody told him that 'E.P.' signatures were more desirable! This book on Ed's life by a National Geographic writer and photographer is a wonderful personal tribute to a man who has given the Sherpa people more than anybody would have dreamed in 1953. With an afterword by Edmund Hillary. When 33-year-old New Zealand beekeeper Edmund Hillary and his Sherpa climbing partner Tenzing Norgay reached the summit of Mt.
