Summit Magazine was America's first advertising supported climber's magazine, and was published from November 1955 to June 1989. It covered both the most important climbs of that era, as well as the everyday climbs of non elite climbers. A complete set is rather hard to find as issues from the 1950s are scarce. However, starting in the 1960s it became popular and we can usually complete a full set within that period. This set has most of the rare 1950s issues. This set is a nearly complete run from Vol 1 No 1, Nov 1955 to the final issue June 1989, missing only about 15 issues, comprising 270+ out of the 290+ issues. Some of these issues are in brand new condition, as several years ago we actually bought out the remaining stock of back issues from Helen Kilness and Jean Crenshaw, the original publishers, who still had thousands of back issues in stock.
