About the AuthorMichael Strassman pioneered many routes throughout the West for the past twenty-three years including the majority of the routes in the Alabama Hills. He was an owner of Range of Light Productions, producer of many climbing videos and television series including the eighties classic Moving Over Stone and the ClimbTV series shown on the Outdoor Life Network. He wrote several books and articles on climbing and big wall climbing. He unfortunately passed away in 2007.
