Norman Hardie was a climbing comrade of Sir Edmund Hillary and was one of those who scaled Kangchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world. At the end of the expedition, Hardie parted with the main expedition and walked with his Sherpa companions across the high ranges and through the deep valleys of upper Nepal. Hardie stopped at the Sherpa village of Khumjung where he lived for several months, sharing and learning about Sherpa life. DJ, Ex Library, Very Good.
