About the Author
Born in London in 1951, Angela Benham loved English Literature from an early age. Having survived meningitis at 19, she studied English at Manchester University and then taught with Voluntary Service Overseas in Thailand. She raised her family in Leicester, became interested in counselling and psychotherapy and started teaching in special schools.
