On the handle are the signatures in rich black marker of some of the following great mountaineers: Edmund Hillary, Reinhold Messner, Kurt Diemberger, Tom Hornbein, Steve House, Conrad Anker, Jim Bridwell, Stephen Venables, Chris Bonington, Royal Robbins, Fred Beckey, Apa Sherpa.
